For over two decades International Associates  ("IA) and our affiliates have been involved in

the strategic development of early to mid-stage growth companies; providing management

consulting and advisory services to both public and private companies. 

Areas of particular concentration include:

Based on the specific parameters of a transaction IA’s involvement can come in several custom formats such as: 
1. Acting as a principal investor 
2. Investing in concert with principal investors with whom we maintain close relationships or 
3. Strictly as an advisor/management and business development consultant.Our International Associates ("IA") team works with companies at all stages of growth, from startups to management buyouts of mature companies. We have no absolute minimum or maximum project however typical parameters generally fall into 3 categories:
1) OTC listed companies with encouraging prospects through organic growth and acquisition. Situations are typically characterized by limited market support, low market capitalization yet a viable plan of action. 
2) Private companies seeking expansion or acquisition capital in the context of a private placement or in connection with a public entree.  
3) Recently profitable companies that are facing an unforeseen downturn and require financial support to return to profitability/growth.

IA ultimately strives to move our clients/portfolio companies toward a greater diversity and sophistication of investor base as the company continues to mature.


Outstanding Management Team:  The Company should have a team composed of experienced executives with proven ability to profitably grow the operation. Has the team worked together before? Will they be compatible? What is the relevant experience of each person? What will each team member focus on? Are additions to the team required? 

Business Concept:  We target businesses that have either strong competitive positions in mature, stable industries or a track record of market leadership and innovation in newer, rapidly growing industries. What is the unique aspect/competitive advantage of the product or service offered? If technology is being developed, what is the progress to date? How will the product be distributed? Are there patent or regulatory issues to address? What is the timetable for the business?

Execution of Plan:  It is imperative that IA can establish that a management team and the organization as a whole is capable of executing the plans for which funding is being sought. We like to be comfortable that in addition to a well defined plan, that the finer details and mechanics associated with reaching the projections have been addressed as weak as a verifiable strategic path towards each phase of growth.  

Market and Industry:  What is the best estimate of the true market for the product or service? On what is the estimate based? What direct customer feedback has been measured? What is the existing and potential competition?  

Capital Requirements:  How much funding is required now and how will the financing be structured? Will additional funding be needed later? If so, what stage of development of the company will be funded with each infusion of cash? 

High Potential Investment Return:  Substantial capital appreciation potential must exist. While the investment price will be a significant component in evaluating the investor’s return on each investment, other critical factors, such as the amount of risk, the size of the investment, the degree of liquidity, and the estimated holding period also will be considered. 

Financial Statements:  Does the company have audited or reviewed financial statements?
Are three or five-year projections developed? What is the basis for the projections?   
Alternative Capital Consulting ("ACC") offers a blueprint for companies seeking to act as their own investment banker under guidance and consulting from IA. The program is intended for underserved companies which could benefit from a full scale investment banking relationship but do not have the capital resources to outsource such an effort.  ACC is a hybrid and non-exclusive relationship which can offer a means through which to accomplish capital raising objectives using a proven systematic approach. 
The program provides a customized Investor Target List drawn and prepared by IA resources and relationships as well as a methodology for creating and or enhancing business investment proposal materials. In addition, IA will provide advisory review of the materials preparation process and investor development. Further information can be provided on each aspect of the program upon request.   

Alternative Capital Consulting and  Access is structured as a non-exclusive agreement between the client Company and IA. The agreement includes an initial access fee (in association with other parameters) as well as a provision for ongoing management consultant as the company conducts its own capital raising efforts
